Went on an organised trip to another beach East of Porlamar. We were using Fanatic popouts with foam covered decks. It's been 8 years since I last surfed so I was a bit rusty. Got a couple of runs from out back before I got to my feet. It was a slow beach break so nothing too exciting. I'd forgotten how knackering it was to paddle out, a lot of effort for such a short run back.

Chatting to Ben (Club Marg Centre Manager) later and both agreed that it would have been awesome frontside riding if there had been a cross shore wind, unfortunately this does not happen.
